The Desert Foot Conference is an educational program designed to enable participants to improve clinical care for patients with diabetes and non-diabetes related lower extremity pathologies that present to physicians and clinicians of multiple specialties. Their clinical management and treatment can oftentimes be daunting as well as challenging. Specifically, the impact of neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, infection, diseases of the skin and nails, orthopedic deformities, and associated renal complications have taken their toll on these patients. This Conference places top national speakers at the podium during the general sessions covering state-of-the-art training and updates on skin, nail disorders, advanced wound care, surgical procedures, and new techniques in the management of diabetic and non-diabetic foot disorders.
