Closing the Revolving Door of DFUs: From Temporary Closure to Durable Synergistic Healing With Multimodality TWO2 Therapy
Nearly 40% of healed diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) recur within a year, and each recurrence raises the risk of infection, hospitalization and amputation. This workshop will show how multimodality Topical Wound Oxygen (TWO2) therapy, which combines pressurized oxygen with non-contact cyclical compression, changes the wound environment to resolve edema and inflammation, restore tissue oxygenation, and rebuild stronger tissue so wounds stay closed. Randomized controlled trial (RCT) and real-world evidence (RWE) data will show sustained closure, lower recurrence, and fewer hospitalizations and amputations.
